Message from the Chair

" Welcome to the Department of Computer Engineering (CE). The Department aims to providing a broad-based education in computer engineering covering analysis, design and application of modern computing technologies. The CE Curriculum is a combination of theoretical electrical and computer engineering concepts, with the majority of courses having a practical ‘hands-on’ laboratory experience. The curriculum of this program aims to prepare students for careers in design and development of computer software, hardware and applications. Our academic curriculum keeps well in conformity with ever-evolving industry demands of the computer market. The Department has modern, state of the art teaching and learning facilities, resources, laboratories and very highly qualified academic faculty and staff. The Department provides a highly professional academic environment and believes in nurturing the full potential of every one of our students. CE graduates from PMU acquire the global competencies to compete in the global market."
